While Newsprint consumption has been growing at an average rate of 8 percent, domestic production has remained inadequate and the shortfall has always been met through imports. Indian demand is estimated at approximately 1,800,000 MTs , while production is almost half of National demand.Hence there is a Huge space to grow.
